Description: Guns Listing ID: 519284 SN: 1632. Very rare H.E. Dimick Navy revolver. Very rare gun with approximately 300 of these guns sold. Originally made by Metropolitan Arms and sold through Dimick. Dimick was a firm in St. Louis that made and dealt in guns. The firm was headed by Horace Dimick and operated from 1849 to 1874. Approximately 100 of these navies were marked by Dimick, the majority of these were completely unmarked. Along with this gun comes a copy of a previous example sold explaining these rare guns as well a biography on Horace Dimick. This gun is one of the unmarked versions.
