Introduced in the 1980s, it was the first M1911-style handgun to feature a double-stack magazine, increasing capacity to 14+1 rounds while maintaining the classic 1911 ergonomics. The pistol features a 5-inch barrel, steel frame, and polymer grips, offering a balance of durability and comfort. Standard features include a beavertail grip safety, dovetail front and adjustable rear sights, and a skeletonized trigger.
