Synopsis:

Wonderful postwar Mauser Parabellum, Swiss P08 pattern, imported by InterArms in the early 1970s, nearly NIB with test target, hanging tag, owners manual, takedown tool, spare magazine and cleaning rod in original matching box.

Description:

Standard P08 Swiss configuration, cal .30 Luger, with 6” barrel having drift front sight and fixed rear “V” sight. Crest of barrel marked with caliber. Chamber with lightly imprinted American Eagle. Middle toggle link with “Original/Mauser”. The right side of barrel extension with the InterArms logo and full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the frame. Rear frame marked “Made in Germany”. The major and several minor parts are salt blued. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, safety, ejector and magazine release button. Fire blued grip screws. Checkered walnut panels. Standard Mauser Banner magazines with black plastic plugs retained by two pins. Included in the original shipping box is the owners manual, original Mauser tag, takedown tool, a brass cleaning rod, and numbered test target. End label of box is marked with barrel length, caliber and serial number.

Condition:

Pistol is nearly new with only the slightest marking on rear frame below toggle, that likely occurred during test firing. No wear to front or backstrap. Rare tiny aging spot on left side of trigger and magazine button retainer, otherwise straw as new. Comparable condition fire blue on grip screws. Accessories appear unused. Crisp target, manual, and hanging tag. Shipping box with storage scuffs, styrofoam staining with loss near muzzle and easily re-glued corner splits. A wonderful postwar Swiss pattern P08 as imported by InterArms, with the scarcer 6" barrel, in its original box with all accessories.
