"NSN. Made circa 1780. Large 1 3/8" bore with a 26" barrel. Very fine gun with a barrel that has been rebrowned. All of the Kafgari Gold work appears original. The lock is is from the British Indian Arsenal with the Lion on the lock and the year 1811 stamped behind the hammer. The barrel is proffed, but we have never seen these proofs and question if they are altered British Proof marks. The stock is very good as refinished. This is a very fine large example of a Bluderbuss that was certainly is the high class ranks of Indian Society based on the decoration and condition! (DALLAS LOCATION)
