An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial # 85,284, all matching numbers. Made in 1858, all original and complete. The revolver has fine metal markings, and edges. It has an excellent & crisp full cylinder scene on it. It has the desirable "Hartford Address" on the top of the barrel. The barrel on it retains most of its original factory blue with small spots throughout turning to a plum patina. The cylinder has a natural plum brown patina on it. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retained darkening case colors on them. All screws are excellent and retain their original factory blue on them. The backstrap and trigger guard are both very fine and retain most of their original factory silver on them. The factory grips are excellent and retain most of their original varnish on them. The action is very fine and crisp as is the bore. This Is A Fine Untouched Example of An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver!
