Colt New Service Model (Commercial Model) fitted with a 4 1/2 inch barrel, fixed sights, black checkered hard rubber grips with Colt monograms, grip butt mounted lanyard, flat cylinder latch, is blue finished, and chambered in .38-40 Win.. This 1911 vintage New Service is in very fine original condition, retaining 60% original blue, with even wear overall. The grips, which do not number to the gun, fit well and are in very fine condition, showing no major wear, chips, and no cracks. The bore is excellent, is bright with sharp rifling and the action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up on all 6 cylinders.
