At 9.9 pounds this nestles very nicely into the hands. The pistol grip design and the full beavertail for end really give you a place to get a good hold. This comes to the shoulder very nicely. I have had a few other Double rifle lines in the last few years and the Iphisi stands out from the others. You would have to spend thousands more just to get the standard options found on the Iphisi. This is a feature packed rifle. The fact that it is easy to mount a scope on, is a major selling point. All you need is a set of Tally rings not an expensive mount from a faraway land. The 25.5" barrels are regulated for the popular 400-gr Hornady DGX load, but thanks to Chapuis' patented regulating mechanism, they can be tuned by a competent gunsmith for the load of your choice. This is a big deal usually you stick with one bullet and weight and once that works you use it, and it doesn’t matter if you want to or not. By leaving the wedge proud it changes the game now you and a competent gun smith can custom create a load with those old Woodleigh Weldcore Soft Nose bullets.
