Description:
Scarce 26 inch round barrels chambered in 28 gauge. 2-3/4 inch chambers. About 90% original barrel blue remains with a tapering narrowing concave game rib and a mushroom bead front sight. Matted rib reads "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A.. WHITWORTH STEEL" with arrows on each side. Tops of barrels are engraved with intertwining scrollwork and small band around the breech and muzzle. Barrel flats are marked "SKEET IN" and "SKEET OUT". Forearm latch release is engraved with floral and scrolls. Boxlock action has traces of case colors in the protected areas with nearly complete coverage of interweaving floral and scroll engraving. The action flats are stamped with the serial number and patent dates along with "7" designating the grade. Double triggers and an engraved triggerguard. Nicely figured walnut stock features carved and checkered side-panels with checkered pistolgrip and skeleton buttplate with only mild wear and handling mars. Weight is 5 pounds 7 ounces. LOP 13-1/2  DAC 1-5/8  DAH 2-1/2. The Parker AAHE's were Grade 7 guns and these were one of the finest guns Parker offered. They were built with some of the finest materials to the highest specifications. This is an honest example of a extremely scarce 28 Gauge Parker shotgun made in 1920 that would be the center of any gun collection.
