Description:
This A. Waters percussion pistol is stamped with an 1843 on its right side. Our measure finds the smooth barrel to be .54." A cartouche can be found on the left side above the trigger. The letters "J N(?)" are stamped on the barrel near the nipple. Nipple appears to be original and has no blockage.
Ramrod and ramrod bracket operate freely as they should. Furniture on this pistol is in very good condition, with no cracks, chips, or gouges.
We find the hammer and spring to operate and lock into both positions. Trigger operates as it should.
We have hot done any cleaning on this item. We are presenting it "as received."
