Description:
An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Model 1860 Spencer Carbine In Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #27195, all matching numbers. All original and complete. The carbine has nice metal, markings, and edges. The barrel, frame and all the rest of the metal on the carbine have a natural and untouched darkening patina on them. All screws are very good. The original tube in the rear of the stock is fine and untouched. The carbine has very good wood & edges with the stock showing natural saddle wear on it. There is a visible "U.S. Inspectors Cartouche" on the back side. There are hand carved letters on the backside of the wood stock that need further research done on them as they are most likely a soldier or regiment. The carbine has a very good bore & very tight action inside it. This Is A Very Good Looking Example Of An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Model 1860 Spencer Carbine That Was Definitely Used In The War!
