I am listing a rare accessory for the 1983 model 94 Winchester Bald Eagle commemorative. This knife set was made to be sold as an accessory to the the 1983 model 94 Bald Eagle Commemorative rifles but the knives did not get finished being engraved in time to be sold with the commemorative rifles. These knives were contracted to be hand engraved by Gerbers master engraver but the project fell behind the issue date of the rifles and was stopped short of being completed. These knives are numbered to in the manner as the rifles are with both the blad eagle silver and gold editions. In all there were only 23 sets of knives kept together in sets. This set isnt perfect and has somen ight markings on them as they all sat in storage untouched for over 30 years before being purchased by my father from Alaska Sporting Goods who was the distributor of the Winchester Commemorative issue in 1983. The original brochure will be sent with the knives.
