A blade front sight with protective sides and a flip aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 2904503. The barrel is stamped "UNDERWOOD 2 - 44". This WWII Era lightweight short, barreled battle rifle was issued to paratroops, equipment drivers and officers in battle theaters around the globe.
