Description: Here we have a Smith and Wesson .38 Safety Hammerless 2nd Model chambered in .38 S&W. Manufactured in 1889 and also known as a "Lemon Squeezer", this revolver features a 5 shot fluted cylinder, a 2" barrel, a bicycle styled trigger, blued finish, "S&W" monogram checkered hard rubber grips, a push down catch in top of frame. 37,350 manufactured between 1887-1890. Serial range approx. 5251-42483. This gun is in great shape! The overall bluing on the barrel and receiver are in 90% + condition. The grips are in a mint 95% + condition and the bore is in 95% +/- condition. The one issue is that the barrel looks to have been cut sadly. Overall, this is a great little piece of history!
