Description:
"Serial No. 1082576, circa late 1942, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling visible. Milled Type I sight is marked “L", barrel is undated and marked “W". A faint Winchester proof marked is stamped 6 ½" from the muzzle. Type I-barrel band has two faint weld scars and is unmarked. Type II blued bolt is marked “W", Type III trigger housing, hammer, hammer, magazine catch and sear are marked with “W". High wood “I" cut stock shows light handling and usage marks. Right side is marked with “W.R.A./G.H.D.-Crossed Cannons. Sling well is unmarked. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
