Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle chambered in .38-40 Winchester (.38 WCF). The serial number (62095) suggests that it was produced in 1880 and is a late second model with dust cover grip serrations. Special order model with an extra length 28-inch barrel, set trigger, and a smooth shotgun buttplate. Set trigger does not appear to set. Upper tang is factory drilled and tapped for a peep sight with filler screws in place. No accessories. .38-40 Winchester
