Description: This S & W is an early M10 & was mfg abt 1922 (Ser # 355348). It is a restored version & in very fine condition. It has a rounded butt, a later set of walnut grips but w/chrome plated brass medallons. It is a 6-Shot .38 Cal and the action is very good. The bore has good rifling but w/some very faint pitting. It is also thr rarer 5-Screw. These were once very common, not so much anymore thuough ! In my perusal of GI I didn't see any ! I'm sure that there are some ot there, just not ready to post, as yet. The action of this one is normal & very tight. It should appeal to the mid-level collector.
