Description: Absolutely fabulous Connecticut Shotgun Mfg. Winchester Model 21 Grand American 2 barrel set with 30" and 32" vent rib barrels with 3 inch chambers and 24 Briley screw in chokes. This was a bespoke gun which, as new, was stocked by Wenig in true exhibition Turkish Walnut with two forends. Also included is the new and unused CSMC Grand American stock set with two forends. It is cased in a Marvin Huey Cape Buffalo French fitted case from a Buffalo shot by the original owner. The Wenig stock has a right hand palm swell and a 14 3/4" LOP to a red Winchester pad. Monogrammed stock oval. DAC - 1 3/16" DAH - 1 3/4" Weighs 8lb 2oz with 32" barrels and 8lb with 30" barrels. The CSMC stock set has more drop at comb and heel. This fantastic gun has Grand American engraving with six gold inlays. I particularly like the leaf engraving on the fences. Both sets of wood are impeccable. The replacement cost of the Huey oak and leather case with accessories would be north of $4,000 if he was still taking orders. Sadly, Mr. Lauzen, the original owner passed before getting a chance to use this gun much if at all. It remains in new condition. Price: $27,500.00 |
