Serial No. 4282688, circa mid-1944, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked “P". Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. The barrel band is unmarked with the sling swivel stamped “UN". Internals appear largely correct including flat bolt and push button safety, the hammer appears to be a \"IN\" replacement. Rear sight is marked “I.R.C.O./ 7160060". Low wood stock is in very good condition with minimal handling wear noted. Ordnance wheel with “NPM/FJA" is visible on the right side, with the left side marked “ARAF. Sling well cut out is stamped “TN". Action is smooth and functions correctly. (R43825)
