Serial #4718 matching, including wedge, 1861 manufacture. .44 caliber bore is very good+, mechanics are tight. Colt's patent marking on frame. Cut for shoulder stock, 4-screw frame. One-line patent dates are present in a cylinder flute, another flute bears the serial #. "L" on the left side of the triggerguard. Has a 8" barrel with very good Colt's one-line New York barrel address. The metal overall is a dark grey patina overall, mixing with some age brown. Light traces of blue showing through protected areas, same with case colors on frame. The brass triggerguard had a light cleaning years ago. Very good+ oiled grips.
