This is a beautiful example of an "as issued" Luger BYF41 coded pistol, made in 1941 at the Mauser factory for German Army and chambered in 9mm Para. It is a compete rig that comes with an excellent condition brown 1941 dated holster with no defects and an unmarked late war tool.
The gun is all matching including both mags and all the appropriate small parts. The grips are original and are correctly unnumbered, with a Eagle/655 stamps inside. Sharp checkering with no defects. Excellent bore. The gun retains around 99% of its original blue with minimal wear on sharp edges from being holstered. The grip straps are near flawless as well. This is a rare variant and has a monicker of "brown widow" among collectors.
Just a stunning rig that cannot be upgraded.
