Fausti DEA in 28ga. Barrels are 28" with screw-in chokes. Rib is flat (non-swamped) with machine texturing for glare reduction. Front bead is brass. Action features a nickeled finish over medium scroll engraving with 95% coverage. Trigger is mechanical and non-selective. Trigger guard is blued with gold Fausti logo on long tang. Stock and forearm are of English/Turkish walnut with straight grain and moderate figure. Wood finish is semi-gloss oil. Checkering is actually hand-cut. Recoil pad is thin rubber and perfectly fit. Forearm latch is the Anson rod design which protrudes from the front of the forearm wood, thus eliminating possible snags on field gloves. Forearm is semi-beavertail which keeps the hand free of hot barrels, while maintaining classical styling.

This gun is lively at just over 5 1/2lbs, but swings smoothly with the balance point exactly on the hinge pin. Gun comes complete in factory case with accessories.
