Offered here is a very nice looking Civil War martially marked Colt Model 1860 Army revolver. Showing evidence of use but not abuse, this is a nice honest gun with nothing to be ashamed of. It is not over-cleaned and buffed to hell and the screws are not buggered. The serial number of 118007 indicates it was made in June 1863. It has a strong Colt address, strong rifling, decent cylinder scene, visible sub-inspector markings throughout, matching serial numbers including the wedge, and cartouches on both sides of the grip (WHR for William H. Roberts and JT for John Taylor). The mechanics are excellent and the action tight and crisp. Coming out of my own collection, this is is a lot of gun for the price, much nicer than many others that I have seen on this site selling for hundreds more. Please take a look at all the photos as they provide the best description of condition. I am a collector, not a dealer, and want to follow the laws for selling and shipping. Please make sure it is legal for you to buy or have shipped to you, where you live. I will ship to the lower 48 contiguous states with the exception of California, New York, and New Jersey because FFL requirements and/or strange gun laws. If I learn of other areas with restrictions, they may also need to be excluded. If you live in one of those areas that I won't ship to, maybe you can have a friend somewhere else receive the gun for you. It is an antique after all and does not meet the Federal definittion of a modern firearm. Three day return privilege as long it comes back in the same condition and unfired.
