Description:
Fixed German silver blade front sight with hammer notch rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG CO./Hartford CT. U.S.A./ No 1 with London proofmarks stamped underneath the barrel just in front of the serial number. The frame features light scroll engraving with a casehardened hammer and spur trigger. 41 cal is stamped below the barrel latch. The grip area is solid iron, with shallow checkering on the sides, deep, sharp checkering on the backstrap, and the serial number repeated on the butt. 2 ½" Barrel with solid rib.
Condition:
Excellent with approximately 97% of the original nickel plated finish remaining. The markings are sharp, the engraving is slightly rounded. Mechanically excellent.
