Description:
Colt Model 1911A1 Military pistol fitted with a "45 AUTO 7791193 91" stamped 5 inch parkerized finished barrel, full checkered brown plastic grips, checkered arched main spring housing with lanyard ring/loop, checkered hammer spur, "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY" & UNITED STATES PROPERTY & the serial number stamped on the right side of the frame. "A A" (Augusta Arsenal Rework) & "GHD" & "P" and a couple of misc. proof stamps are stamped on the left side of the frame around the trigger guard. The Israeli Contract Slide has the number "7790314" stamped on the left side and "TZ" is stamped on the right side. This 1943 vintage is in excellent refinished condition, retaining 98% of its refinish. The grips fit well and are in fine condition, with assorted handling marks, mostly on the right grip panel. The bore is OK, is shootable with sharp rifling, but is a little frosty in the grooves. Comes with (3) 7-round magazines (1 is stamped with an "L" on top of the floor-plate, 1 is stamped "COLT 45 AUTO." on the bottom of the floor-plate, 1 is stamped "19200-ASSY 5508694 MFR, 1M291" on the bottom of the floor-plate). Comes with a lockable CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) pistol case with "service grade" tag. CURIO & RELIC
