Custom ordered / purchased directly from Weatherby at their Sheridan, Wyoming headquarters and facility.  This rifle is a rocket and thumper ! Customer has too many rifles and just purchased another Backcountry 2.0 so told me to sell this for him.  He used this last fall to take a beauty of an elk.   Original cost with the scope totaled approximately $5400.  This package can be purchased for $3650.  This deal likely will not last long, so act now and Seller will include 4 boxes of factory ammo !  This rifle is in excellent condition ! The Backcountry 2.0 Ti Carbon combines a titanium action with the new Peak 44™ Blacktooth™ stock — the lightest production carbon fiber stock on the market.  Aiding in both weight and recoil reduction is the second generation 3DHEX® recoil pad, the first production 3D printed pad the firearms world has seen. Hidden inside the pad are a series of interlocking voids that progressively collapse during recoil, expanding the time component of the recoil impulse and deadening the sharp kick of magnum chamberings.  This rifle weighs 6.o pounds (plus the scope). More pronounced spiral fluting on the bolt body not only trims a little weight, it also reduces bearing surface within the action and results in even smoother function. The newly-threaded bolt handle is equipped with a lightweight aluminum extended, skeletonized knob. Fit with a titanium version of Weatherby’s highly-effective Accubrake® ST, this brake is blended to match the profile of the #4 carbon fiber barrel. The Accubrake tames magnum chamberings and makes them pleasant to shoot.  Also include is the barrel thread protector in the event one wishes to not use a muzzle break. With exposed carbon fiber on both the barrel and the stock and raw titanium on the action, all other metalwork is sealed away behind a black ceramic Cerakote® shell. The stock complements the two-tone action with a white and grey pattern to help break up the gun’s lines in the field. Combining supremely light weight and a superb barrel system, the Backcountry 2.0 Ti Carbon is the perfect melding of accuracy and low mass. Equipped with a Leupold VX-6HD (Gen 1) 3-18x50 scope  known for its high-quality glass, rugged construction, and various features like the Custom Dial System (CDS) and zero lock turrets. It features a 6:1 zoom ratio, offering a wide range of magnification options. The Gen 1 model has a FireDot Duplex ZL2 reticle.  This scope includes both the standard Zero Stop Turret as well as a CDS turret for 140 grain Weatherby ammo.
