Description:
This is a Remington Model 12 C, .22 s, l or Long rifle chambered pump action rifle , in overall very good condition. These rifles were loved by those that owned them, and so most got alot use and abuse. The rifle shows honest use and wear , but was taken care of. The rifle does show scattered light scratches, dings and some patina and freckling to the metal. There is a slight hairline crack at the tip of the pump handle, maybe 3/8". The gun functions properly - loads, feeds fires and ejects as it should. I did fire it a few times and it was dead on at 25 yds. The octagon barrel measures 24", with sharp corners, excellent lettering and a good bore. The rifling is well defined , a little dark with some slight wear. High condition Remington 12 c's are very tough to find. This rifle, while showing some age, is much better than most found for sale. ***** This must ship to a FFL, C&R license ok.
