Description:
This is a full and sealed box, 50 original rounds, of .22 LR ammunition manufactured by the US Cartridge Co. in Lowell, Mass made circa 1919 as part of the 1st cartridge on top half split issues. The two piece orange, blue and white box has excellent graphics with bright colors and a nice cartridge cut. The overall condition is near excellent with intact labels and very nice corners and edges having only slight rub wear on the top and some old ink writing on the bottom. Identified as US7 LR-2 in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference based on the original Dunn classification system.
