Prewar (1930) Browning Superposed 12 gauge O/U S/N 81P, probably first month of production. 30" solid Concave rib, choked M/F, true double trigger gun, double ivory beads, old style prewar double ring Browning buttplate, SPG stock and early horseshoe forend of very nice French walnut, FN on toplever with engraving that looks exactly like the Superlights 40 years later. Wgt. 7lbs. 3 ozs., 14 1/2" LOP, 1 1/2" DAC, 2" DAH, 1/4" cast off for RH. Gold on safety. This gun had a tag on it when I obtained it and supposedly had been in the Marlin factory collection for many years before Remington bought them.
