SN: 54470. This desirable Walther Sportmodell .22 caliber single shot rifle is in fine condition. The 26\" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 97% blue with wear on the buttplate and trigger guard. The top of the chamber is marked with the WALTHER banner over THURNGEN. The left side of the receiver has the serial number with WAFFENFABRIK WALTHER ZELLA-MEHLIS below. The right side is marked DEUTSCHES SPORTMODELL The left side of the barrel has KAL.22 LANG FUR BUCHSEN followed by Nitro proof marks. The right side of the barrel and receiver have crown over N, B, and U proofs with the caliber also being marked ont he barre. The stock is fine with usage dents and dings with the most obvious being on the lower left of the butt. The cleaning rod is present. The action functions correclty. These Walther Sportmodell rifles are hard to find in fine condition. This one is ready for the finest collection. (R31031)
