Gorgeous old Westley Richards heavy proof hinged floorplate Droplock 12 gauge Pigeon Gun cased in original oak & leather with their Deluxe engraving pattern. This shotgun has splinter forend with Deeley ejectors, central position W-R single select trigger, sideclips, pigeon style flat rib, original 2 3/4" chambers with 1 1/4 oz. proofs, W-R pivot toplever with doll's head extension, Prince of Wales grip stock of very nicely colored and figured hardshell walnut to a leather-covered pad with widow's peak, gold initial oval unengraved, no splits or cracks, 30" steel barrels that are still in proof; Right- .732", .038" choke & .035 MWT. Left- .734, .040" choke & ..038" MWT. Engraving is sharp w/ barrel wedges, 80% fading case color on frame, floorplate & trigger guard have all of a nitre reblue. Oak & leather case is solid with all labels faded somewhat and intact. Just a great old pigeon gun that is ready for another hundred years.
