Description:
Excellent and scarce early S serial production Smith & Wesson Model 57 41 Magnum with original nickel finish. Serial number in the S253xxx range likely made in 1965. Six inch barrel, six shot, 41 Mag, double action target revolver. Original nickel is near perfect…bright and shiny with virtually no wear. N marked on cylinder (under the star) and on left side of frame under grip. Coke grips are excellent and original to the gun. Shiny bore and perfect mechanics. Notice the double pinned front black sight. Half clamshell case is excellent and includes the proper tools and manual. The Model 57 was not a fast seller for S&W when introduced and factory nickel models from this era are extremely uncommon.

I visually inspect each item, yet all used firearms should be checked by a competent gunsmith prior to firing. I try to describe the major features and flaws in each item, yet things do get missed so please review the pictures as well and please ask questions before you commit to purchase. Three day non-firing inspection with refund minus shipping unless otherwise noted.
Registered with CA DOJ for firearm transfer, but please check if approved by state of CA prior to (C&R items are exempt from this restriction if they abide by magazine and assault weapons laws). Shipments to 03 Curio & Relic FFL holders is allowed if it complies with state and local laws. Please note several state including NY, NJ, CA etc only allows shipment of C&R handguns and rifles to an 01 or 07 FFL dealer. Sales only in USA. I ship using FEDEX and USPS.
