1928 Savage Model 99 Takedown .250-3000 Savage. Hand master engraved and signed by well known Master Engraver DW Harris. Triple game scene engraved, featuring a wolf, bear, and buffalo. Very tasteful work. Gun is in great condition. Give me a call and let's talk about it. Gun comes with email correspondence between DW Harris and the original owner, and Harris states the work would cost $5500 in today's dollars. As I'm sure most of you who have read this far know, DW Harris predominantly engraved revolvers and pistols and his work on fine lever actions is rarely seen.
