Description:
The Bisley model is designed to be more user-friendly to coat-wearing urbanites and harks back to the pistol competitions at Bisley, England. This Ruger carries the tradition forward with low-profile target sights, and low-slung hammer spur. The Ruger incorporates a few other features including a transfer-bar ignition, and cylinder lock deactivation upon opening the loading gate, both features would have probably been welcomed by Sam Colt with a "I wish I had thought of that." The first for safety and the second for convenience. This one appears to have been fired a bit since manufacture in 1996, but not much, and it could pass for new. .45
