Description:
Swarovski Barrett riflescope, 10x42 with Christmas tree reticle and original lens caps. This scope is in excellent condition. There are no lens issues. All of these are 30mm main tube diameter.
A little discourse on these Barrett scopes. I have two I use. Both have the mildot reticle and they are on my varmint rifles. I spoke with a techican at Swarovski who knew the history of these scope. He stated they are the best scopes Swarovski ever made. The story relayed to me was Swarovski had an engineer called to duty in Afghanistan. This engineer sent the specificans for what became the Barrett scopes back to the factory and they made them as it was what was needed in Afganastan.
There were only two reticles available for then, the mildot and the Christmas tree. The Christmas tree reticle is ranged out to 1750 yards with a parralax setting of 750 yards.
I really like mine. They are a great riflescope.
