Description:
This is a fine Savage Model 1903 Take down 22 caliber pump. The barrel is octagon, 24 inches with excellent bore. It has an original seven round magazine. The magazine has a hold open feature that does't allow the bolt to close after the last round is fired. The front sight is a Lyman #5B combination with flip up target blade. The rear sight on the barrel is an original Savage #25 with a screw adjustment. The rear tang sight is a rare Marbles Simplex S2. The blueing is original with one rub spot on the receiver. The perch belly stock and eleven groove fore arm are in good shape and have original finish. The crescent butt plate is original and numbered to the stock. Really a very nice little 22.
