Description:
A wonderfull custom made flintlock pistol with a serial #921/2, .and 45 cal, black powder with a 10” rifled octagonal barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel retains about 98% original blue, with the muzzle face remaining in the white, showing a few light handling marks with nice foliate and sunburst motifs engraved throughout, and displaying familiar Italian proofs. The lockplate retains 98% vibrant case-hardened colors and the brass components remain largely bright with the odd scratch or fleck or tarnish. The smooth hardwood stock remains near excellent showing a few light dings and handling marks. Lock function remains robust, locking securely at both full and half-cock, and the brass-cupped hardwood ramrod fits securely in its place. Included is an end-labeled box, and there is a “2” etched into the tang,. Comes with a hardwood ram-rod with a brass tip.. The flint Showers profuse sparks into the pan. Wonderfull workmanship on this contemporary flimntlock/.
