Description:
You are looking at a Colt 1861 Navy.  Many who have seen it over the years I have owned this gun are of the opinion that, while most of the parts started life to become a Colt 1861 Navy Percussion Revolver, it never was one. They believe it left Hartford as it is today: a .38 Colt Center Fire Revolver.  Some have called it a “Parts Clean Up” gun. The barrel, frame, loading gate and the cylinder are numbered the same: 21388.  The trigger guard and back strap have the matching numbers 117788.  I believe they are Colt SAA parts. CAUTION; ALL THE ABOVE ARE OPINIONS - NOT KNOWN FACTS! Call (520-399-0440) with any questions I will pay for the shipping and insurance. Because it’s an antique, it can be shipped directly to you.
