Prewar gun (1935), no 2 of pair, w 2 sets of very nice 28"x2 1/2" steel NP bbls numbered to gun, mirror bores and fresh blacking: matted rib R1 734/724 (IC) L1 734/714 (Mod); raised smooth rib w mid bead, R2 738/735 (sk) L2 738/734 (sk). Hand detachable sidelock w ejectors. Marked "Badminton" and typically engraved in acanthus scroll w floral bouquets. Finishes redone in England, recently. Correct original screws except trigger plate screw. Sound original wood, checkering somewhat worn, LOP14.5" thru Silvers pad, drops 1.5" and 2 1/8". w 3/8" cast off. 6 3/4 lbs. Cased in a worn C Lancaster brass, oak and leather case that fits the gun.
