Description:
It possibly is one the most unique guns I've come across. It's a lightweight sporting stalking rifle. It weighs 6.3 pounds. In cal 8x ?            This lightweight round body is pretty much fully engraved. I thought it might've been a German Gilded gun Nope, but i a danish 1867  pre-Husqvarna.Has a very nice light trigger it.It has pristine 8mm bore, and rifling .one little spot of scattered surface rust on a mirror 99% perfect and that was after it hung on a fireplace mantle for 75 years. It was taken down recently and just thoroughly cleaned nothing but with a light wipe of tongue oil everything cleaned up nice with soap and water . Included a total strip down of all parts and re-oiled flooring has minor, mossy, freckles nothing deep or pitted. It looks like traditional original Rust blue with a fully engraved top rib and a teardrop profile. hundred percent Original finish the only markings on this gun is the word stall. STAAL.  this is the Danish spelling of steel. also a company over there. There there are no other markings on this gun except when taken apart to thoroughly clean it was some serial number like one! . This might be a prototype or one off with a serial number "2" I don't know it's also looks like Henry rifling and condition of metal is good to excellent with mottled case color, fully engraved what is original with small group mix and a little chip at near muzzle The gun was definitely manufactured in the mid 1860s from what I researched .shipping to some Ffl's might be required, depending on your state call me to see if it qualifies for you as antique Jeff Gabriel 716-883-9527
