From a mid-west sale, a factory restored Smith and Wesson, Model 1 of Model 1891 single shot target pistol cal. 22 Long Rifle. 6" barrel with a nice bore (see photos). At the sale they said this pistol has been stamped 6-56 indicating the pistol was returned to the factory in June of 1956 to be refurbished (see photos). The blued metal finish is excellent and the walnut grips have crisp checkering with no cracks or chips; however, there are a few very light pressure dents (see photos). After close inspection it appears this pistol has not been fired after the factory restoration; however, I have no way to authenticate this, therefore I am listing this pistol with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
