Description:
WW2 Russian Izhevsk M91/30 PU Sniper rifle in 7.62x54r caliber.  An RGuns import marked rifle.  An original WW2 Russian PU Sniper rifle made in 1943.  Arsenal overhauled after WW2 and placed into storage like most.  The rifle has all matching numbers.  The rifle has serial number NK8841 with the original  scope number of 457480 on the side of the shank.  The scope on the rifle has number N-24590.  The mount has matching number of rifle, matching scope number and even the old scope number from the shank lightly crossed out (on overhaul it was common to mount a different scope and then often re-number the shank…but often they just matched it to the mount with electric pencil).   A relatively rare 1941 dated PU scope from factory #3NKVD/#296 NKAP which has the SVT type markings but is marked “CB” on turret that uses the internal stop pin and not the more common 91/30 external pin.  The rifling is excellent with nice shiny bore.  Notice the packing grease is still on the scope and lens covers.  Crystal clear optics and both elevation and windage knobs move freely.  Some light storage marks and scuffs mostly on stock.  I doubt this rifle was fired since being overhauled, packed and eventually surplused into the US.  I believe RGuns would import most of these out of Ukraine prior to the invasion.  This is a real WW2 Russian M91/30 sniper, and not a made up sniper.
