Description:
The 1906 DWM American Eagle Luger was made in 1906 only, with between 7,500 to 8,000 manufactured. They were made for the U.S. market and stamped "GERMANY" under the serial number on the frame and the American Eagle was stamped on top of the frame in front of the breech. Were fitted with a 4 3/4 inch barrel, built on either a short or long frame, and chambered in 7.65mm PARA. CAL.. This 1906 American Eagle Luger is as described and is built on the short frame. It is in excellent/near new condition, retaining 98%+ of its original blue, with only loss/thinning on the high edges of the frame and grip safety, due to handling. The straw finished parts retain lots of their original finishes, but there is some partial loss of straw finish on the trigger, safety lever, and magazine release button. The grips are in as new condition and the wood magazine bottom has only a few minor handling marks, otherwise in like new condition. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. This is one of the nicest American Eagle Lugers we have seen in a long time, an absolutely beautiful example of its type. CURIO & RELIC
