Original US Springfield Model 1878 Trapdoor rifle 45-70 in fine condition.
The breechblock locks up tightly, the lock has the proper 3 clicks. Flip up rear sight in excellent working order. No cracks or major damage. Some case color left in protected areas. All proof marks present well defined and visible. Strong rifling still present in bore. All original antique military rifle with 22 ½ inch barrel. See pictures.
