The original serial number was degraded slightly during the refinishing process that occured in the 1960's. The second and third digit are pratially unreadable. Please see the high definition photos for condiction.

This classic Winchester Model 1892 lever-action rifle, chambered in .25-20 WCF, features a distinctive octagonal barrel. Manufactured around 1914 (SN 7??704), this rifle has been professionally refinished in the 1960s and boasts a resleeved barrel for excellent shooting performance.
While not in original collector's condition, the high-quality restoration makes it a beautiful and functional piece of American firearms history. It's a fantastic shooter for the range, small game hunting, or simply appreciating a vintage Winchester.
Condition: Good, as professionally refinished. Metal and wood show a high-quality restoration. The resleeved bore is excellent.
