Description:
RUGER GOLD LABEL SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga. 3". S# 460-01641. Bbls. 28" with solid machined rib having single brass bead; screw in choke tubes of Skeet and Skeet. Mfg. 2005 (2004-2006) as Model KSXSS12 having stainless receiver and forend iron; balance blued. In May of 2006 manufacturing equipment moved from Newport plant to Prescott facility with no production since that date; 460-03361 was first number of 2006 with likely total of less than 3,500 units. True American classic double with English style straight gripped buttstock and splinter forend (push button release at tip). Fine cut checkering on AAA grade walnut stock set to include wraparound panel on forend with diamond island having gold Ruger emblem; grooved black plastic buttplate with Ruger logo. Some made with pistol grip buttstocks, but overwhelming majority were straight gripped. Rounded action without any visible screws or pins, auto ejectors, single trigger and combination thumb safety / barrel selector. Deemed by many to be the collectable classic double of the future as very few were made and unlikely that more will be produced due to manufacturing costs. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: near excellent 600 Series Classic Double case by Ugartechea of Spain. Case compartmentalized with brown leather and green felt on interior; exterior of green canvas with leather trim. Case keys (2 locks on case) plus 3 Ruger choke tubes: IC, Mod. and Full. Factory box with lock. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent including bores. 12 Gauge
