"Serial No. 49451, manufactured in 1911. Chambered in .45 caliber with a 5 ½" round barrel. Retains the majority of its original blue finish, with muzzle and edge wear visible from handling. Underside of the barrel is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY". R.A.C. inspector marks are present on the right side of the frame, underside of the barrel, and on the bottom of the left grip panel. Grips are in good condition with light impressions noted. Action indexes properly with tight lock-up. A solid example of a U.S. military-issued Colt Model 1909 revolver. Consignment
