Item is the rifle inherited by son from dad started 2Lt when issued M1 Garand Winchester 30/06. Finished Major in Korean War was remarried then only barrel changed. He bought when got.out in fifties. So as issued August 1st 1944 even still has original Winchester lock bar sight and lop eared front all winchester. Bore great, Rifling great, bore cond. Very good. Looks like.stock seen some action but is original walnut issued. Just the front sight lockbar rear sight Winchester made go for 1000.00 now.
