About Us: I am a private individual gradually selling off my collection. I prefer to sell each firearm myself instead of leaving it to the whims of an auuction. I will be listing rifles, shotguns, old, modern, some NIB, and some that are rare. In purchasing from me, you are dealing with the actual owner and not a dealer who has no familiarity with the firearm. I have owned these firearms for anywhere from a year and a half, to several decades. When purchasing from me, there will be no surprise needed repairs.
Description:
New in box and of course unfired. One of Sako’s premium models, with low numbers imported to this side of the ocean. And not all of those had the gorgeous laminated stock that this one has. All the metal on this version of the 85S is stainless except for the trigger and some of the bolt. Fluted heavy varmint barrel. I picked it up at an estate sale a couple years ago and it went right straight to the safe. I have a couple other 22-250s that I am not afraid to breathe on, so I have decided to let this one go. I removed it from the box and wrapping for photography purposes and then put it back. The firearm is new in box flawless. The box is in decent shape with some shuffling wear. The internal Styrofoam has a trivial break in it caused by some yutz at the sale. The factory included scope rings/mounts, sling swivels, padlock, manual, tightening wrench, are all present. I can provide numerous photos to a SERIOUS buyer. Terms are as per this Description section and our correspondence. Cash only for Local sale. For local sale I will only sell to anyone who is verified to purchase a firearm so I would need to see either a FFL, or Neb Firearm Purchase Certificate, and ID, just like it's done at the awk-she-uns/shows. Neb Concealed Carry Permit works as well. If you are from out of state but can make the drive, there is an FFL in Lincoln that will do the transfer for 25 bucks. I will ship to an FFL. If you do not have your own FFL you must contact your FFL provider and ensure that they will accept firearms for transfer that come from a private individual like me that does not have an FFL. I can provide them a copy of my ID. I will also need contact info for your receiving FFL so that I can arrange shipping with them. If shipping, payment for the firearm and shipping combined is by Bank Cashier's Check ONLY. Shipping is to only the lower 48 and is a flat fee of 80 dollars due to insurance and having to package the original box within a larger shipping box.
