Description:
The Ceska Zbrojovka Vz. 27 was introduced in 1927 as a simplified version of the Czechoslovakian military pistol, the Vz. 24 .380. The Vz.27 is a blowback design, rather than a locking breach, and is chambered for the less powerful 7.65x17mm /32 ACP cartridge. Upon being occupied by Germany, the Vz. 27, along with several other Czech-produced firearms, was produced for the war effort and saw extensive use by local security forces. Dubbed the Pistole Modell 27 by the invaders, approximately 400,000 were made before Czechoslovakia was "liberated. This pistol is of the 1942 Bohmische variation, produced under German occupation in 1942, with Waffenamt WaA76 markings.
SPECS:
Weight 25oz
Length 6.4"
Height 5.0"
Width .75"
8 Round Magazine

The pistol has a smooth, highly polished finish, unlike later WWII production guns, which had a rough, gray finish with visible tool marks. On the left side, the bluing is 90% intact, and the metal is unmarked. On the right side, the bluing is worn and thin from the muzzle, going back around 1.5". There are very fine scratches in the metal in the worn area, and shallow pitting is present along the upper part of the right side of the slide. Mechanically, the gun functions perfectly. The bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Grips are not worn, have sharp checkering, and are free from chips. I would rate the overall condition of this 83-year-old WWII pistol as good.
THIS IS A VERY FAIR PRICE FOR A COLLECTABLE & FUNCTIONAL NAZI-MARKED FIREARM.
