Description:
This Ithaca 1911-A1 was produced in 1943. The pistol's serial number is 1226200. It has the correct High Standard barrel chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. This barrel is in fine condition with a bright sharp bore. This barrel does have some blue loss from firing this pistol. The military finish would rate a 98% condition. There is a very light typical idiot scratch on the frame. The only other spot of wear is on the slide on the left side by the recoil spring housing. This pistol has been fired but there is no sign of holster wear. This pistol has the correct early style Keyes Fiber grips. The magazine is in new condition This magazine has the "S" inside the toe of the magazine floor plate. The "S" is for Scovill who was the maker of this magazine. This pistol is in very fine nice condition that any collector would be happy to have in their collection.
